Welcome!

Hello! I’m Miss Hetsler, and I’m excited to welcome you to my virtual classroom. With a family full of educators, I’ve practically grown up in classrooms, and teaching and science are two of my greatest passions. Being in the classroom is where I feel most at home, and I can’t wait to share that excitement with you. I graduated from the University of Findlay in May 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, and I am currently pursuing a license to teach Integrated Science for grades 7-12. During my time in the education program at the University of Findlay, I have been able to learn from experienced teachers during placements at Arlington local schools in 7th and 8th grade and at Findlay High School in 9th grade physical science. Also at UF, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Long Beach, California, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where I presented my research on antibiotic resistance. I’ve also been actively involved in campus life, serving as the president of my sorority last year. Outside of the classroom, I love to travel, read, attend concerts, and bake. I look forward to exploring the world of science with you!
